Appalachian Trail Section Hike. 

Difficulty: Easy/Moderate

Dates: May 30 - June 6 (8 days)

A section hike of the A.T. from Delaware Water Gap to Bear Mountain N.Y. 

Amazing route with abundance of wildlife and climb of Rattlesnake Mountain, lunches in Branchville NJ, and Unionville NY, (trail passes through or near), wonderful camping in High Point State Park, and Harriman State Park, and finishing up at incredible Bear Mountain and Bear Mountain State Park. Optional tour of Westpoint. At treks end, we will walk across the Bear Mountain Bridge, climb in and around Anthony's nose and take the Metro North train back to Manhattan. 

Those participants heading on the Greece E4 hiking trip, will proceed the next day to Rome for a connection. In NYC the AT trek will terminate and you will fly back home or have your own itineraries. Once we arrive back as a group in NYC, participants NOT going to Greece Trek this summer, you are solely doing your own thing, and Turtle's treks is not responsible for your travel plans after we arrive back into the city or any accommodations.

Trek includes: trail food, RT bus ticket from Port Authority NYC, group lunches in Unionville, NY and Branchville, NJ and 1 nights lodging at Bear Mountain area lodging or village. THIS Trek does not include airfare, and you will have to meet us in NYC by 10:30 am on May 30th
